Here’s announcing two upcoming shows for my jazz group Spacecats. The group consists of John Szinger on saxophone, Josh Deutchman on piano and synthesizer, Ken Matthews on bass and Rick Arecco on drums. Our music is jazz and funk, a blend of originals, standards, and our own take on pop and rock songs, played with energy and imagination.
The first gig is at the Green Growler in Croton, our regular haunt and one of our favorite places to play. They support many kinds of music and have a vast selection of beers. The second gig is a jazz brunch at The Grand, also in Croton. This is a new venue for us, and ought to be fun and exciting. Both gigs should be a great time, so come on down and check it out!
