Zing Origami - 2016

 
Created at dinner at on origami convention, at a Mexican restaurant where you can get a margarita with an upside-down beer in it. The design was based on an experiment begun by Michelle.

 
Eight six-petalled flowers combine to form a truncated octahedron. Folded from a single square sheet, flowerballs combine floral tessellations with single-sheet polyhedra.
