Last week the kids had a four-day weekend, so I took a day off from work to take the girls on a special outing.\u00a0 We went to the Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk, CT.\u00a0 They had a bunch of cool stuff there including seals, sharks, sea turtles, lionfish, flounder, crabs, jellyfish, and an octopus.\u00a0 Also some cool models of sailing ships, and a whole room full of frogs and amphibians, including a tank of rare axolotls.\u00a0 (My friend Seth once had these cool creatures as pets.)<\/p>\n

Lizzy took a ton of pictures and I made them into a gallery.\u00a0 Also the girls are guest bloggers tonight, telling about it in their own words.<\/p>\n

Hello my name is Elizabeth.\u00a0 Or you can call me Lizzy.\u00a0 I also like Liz.\u00a0 Or Eliz.\u00a0 I love chipmunks.\u00a0 CHIPMUNKS!\u00a0 I know they don\u2019t even swim.\u00a0 But I love them…\u00a0 Right fish hahaha bing bam bang buuuuurp.\u00a0 Excuse me. The seals were SOOOOO cute.\u00a0 The turtles with human heads were also pretty cool.\u00a0 We got to touch horseshoe crabs, stingrays and starfish.\u00a0 The sharks were amazing.\u00a0 Michelle loved them.\u00a0 They have new African penguins that were SOOOOO cute.\u00a0 There was a giant sea turtle there.\u00a0 It was HUUUUUUGE!!!\u00a0 I told Chippy all about it.\u00a0 Thank you Daddy for taking a day to take us to the aquarium.\u00a0 I know how busy you are. \u00a0\u00a0 : – )<\/p>\n
